Trufina is looking for a talented engineer that can perform as both a Software Quality Assurance engineer and a Linux System Administrator.  This engineer will be responsible for the design and development of a suite of tests that will test all of Trufina's applications, including the corporate web site and the application web site.  Automating these test wherever possible.  This engineer will also perform Linux/Unix systems admin operations, maintain servers and network hardware. Support corporate operations by keeping email, web and other server based applications running in a secure capacity, and analyze server performance.  It is anticipated that 70% of the job will be spent performing Quality Assurance, and 30% of the job will be spent performing System Administration duties.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years QA experience including testing multi-tier web applications, and API's.
• Experience with test automation strategies, especially harness and/or framework development, and automated regression strategies.
• Must be an experienced MYSQL user; including ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
• MySQL administration (Replication, load balancing)
• Experience with session, functional, fault injection, and stress testing.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and QA's role(s) in it.
• 5+ years Linux Systems Administration experience in a corporate or production environment
• Linux clustering experience
• DNS administration
• Apache web server administration
• 3+ Scripting (python, php, perl)

Also Requested

• Experience with Jboss, Apache, CVS.
• Experience with Requirements based testing.
• A working knowledge of other programming languages especially Java.
• Load test experience is highly desirable.

Compensation
Salary is very competitive and is commensurate with experience. Compensation also includes bonus opportunities, and equity.
