Java Web Application Software Engineer

Position Description:
Trufina is looking for a talented Java web application developer to be a critical member of the team creating Trufina's web based products. We are seeking a professional individual with experience developing commercial quality Java web applications. The candidate should possess a strong background in object-oriented design, Java programming language, web services, and be very familiar with the full software development lifecycle.

Required Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years experience developing Java applications
- 3+ years experience developing Java web applications
- Strong Object Oriented design and programming skills
- Development experience on: Linux, Unix, Windows
- A self-starter with the ability to drive tasks to completion
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Preferred Experience:
- Programming in Java and J2EE, JDBC, JSPs, and Servlets
- Web technologies such as web browsers, HTTP, HTML, and JavaScript
- Developed applications using web services (XML-RPC, SOAP, UDDI, and WSDL)
- Worked SQL and relational database structures
- Working knowledge of Apache, JBoss, Eclipse, MySql, and CVS
- Worked with at least one scripting language, such as Perl, Python or PHP
- System security experience.
- Network Management know-how.
- Start-up experience.
