Address Verification
Trufina provides address verification services whereby a user can show up his/her verified address credentials online. The verify address match includes verification of Street, City, State and Zip code (all the aspects). Once a user's address is verified, the user has the option of showing his/her complete verified address, displaying the verification status of the address, or not sharing it at all.
During the Trufina Identity Verification process your address is checked (along with other personal ID information like name, last 4 digits of your social security number, address, and phone ) with our data provider records. If there is a match and you pass the identification process, your address becomes verified. You can now prove your address by sharing your verified Identity Card showing your verified address. Likewise, businesses can ask that you share your address for their address verifications needs.
An example ID card with verified address status is as follows:
Address verification is of high importance in the online community; a typical example being the area of social networking, where in turn your online credentials count a lot. An example site of this is Naymz, where a user creates and maintains an online profile, and interacts with other users with similar interests.
Trufina has partnered with naymz, to provide verification services to its users. One of the components in the verification includes address verification. When a user is verified by Trufina, the user receives a badge on their profile, thus showing up their true verified identity.
