Phone Verification
Trufina provides verification service for all aspects of an online identity. Out of which, phone verification plays an important part. A Trufina user can choose to: 1) show the they have a verify phone, without showing the actual verified phone number, 2) actual phone number, or 3) concell it all together.
During the Trufina Identity Verification process your phone number is checked (along with other personal ID information like name, last 4 digits of your social security number, address, and phone ) with our data provider records. If there is a match and you pass the identification process, your phone number becomes verified. You can now prove your phone number by sharing your verified Identity Card showing your verified phone number. Likewise, businesses can ask that you share your phone number for their phone number verifications needs.
An example ID card with verified phone number status is as follows:
As shown above, the telephone number of the user has been verified and true, though the user has chosen not to display the number itself. Verifying one's phone number is an integral part of a verified online identity, and Trufina has ensured that it is part of its verification process.
